Amanda was born and raised in Zimbabwe, Africa, and moved to America at 21, where she met and married a US Green Beret soldier! They have been married for 34 years and have 5 children. Having moved 11 times over her husband's 22-year career in the military, she became a jack of all trades and has enjoyed a large variety of occupations including a realtor, flight attendant, homeschool mom, and small business owner. She currently owns and operates a furniture restoration business, Kapukanana Creations, and a private African tour group, Kapu Africa. She teaches art at her local homeschool coop and now teaches Pietra Fitness!
She is a lover of all things outdoors, but preferably in warm weather. She enjoys long meaningful conversations over tea, listening to audiobooks while she works, watching her children's sports games, playing board games, traveling, and exercising. There is nothing more important to Amanda than her faith, and although she admits to blundering frequently, she tries to live it loud and large every day.
