Annie grew up in Olathe, KS, went to Kansas State University, and received her masters in Secondary School Counseling from Villanova University in Pennsylvania. Annie currently resides in Overland Park with her husband Evan and son George and are members of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Annie has always been interested in fitness and after over 8 years practicing yoga as a means to focus on upper back strengthening due to minor scoliosis, God had a clear plan to lead her on a new path to Pietra Fitness. Annie has found great joy and consolation in this alternative to incorporate her Catholic faith with physical fitness.
As a new mom, Annie is excited about this new path to teach Pietra Fitness and likes to add humor to her classes. Annie was a high school counselor and theology teacher over the past decade, and will now be staying home with new baby George. She is excited for this new path to allow her to teach Pietra Fitness to a new field of students.
Annie is really passionate about incorporating her Catholic faith with physical movement. She will be staying home as a mom and excited for the doors this will open up to teach Pietra Fitness and be a part of the Pietra Fitness family. Annie is deeply grateful to her husband Evan for his support on this journey, to the priests who spiritually guided this decision, and all the girlfriends and Catholic community that are interested to be future students.
Annie is a Foundation 3 Pro Instructor and is certified to lead Gentle, Intermediate, and Advanced classes.
